Sheheryar Haq

Technical Unit Director

Sheheryar Haq is the Technical Unit Director at i-APS, where he leads a team of over 39 subject matter experts and oversees the organization’s Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) and Learning activities. Certified in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Project Management (Prince 2), Sheheryar brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to complex programs, holding a Master’s in MIS from the University of Surrey and a Master’s in Natural Computation (AI) from the University of York.

Throughout his career, Sheheryar has managed more than 150 TPM and evaluation projects across diverse geographies, including Turkey, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. He is an expert in establishing M&E frameworks and MIS systems for I/NGOs, and has collaborated with a vast array of global donors such as USAID, BHA, EU/ECHO, UN OCHA, and GFFO. His technical expertise extends to advanced data-science-driven studies, including regional value chain analyses and market-labor assessments. At i-APS, Sheheryar is a key driver of innovation, utilizing his background in AI to enhance humanitarian research-data systems and empower marginalized communities through gender, governance, and environmental themes.
