Eylaph Suliman is a dedicated public health specialist with over five years of expertise in health and nutrition program management, monitoring, and evaluation within challenging humanitarian environments. Currently supporting UNICEF funded Nutrition Research and Monitoring activity in Sudan address famine. i-APS work in Sudan is addressing famine focuses on understanding its complex causes, identifying effective prevention strategies, and improving responses to food crises.
She excels at designing M&E frameworks, managing emergency health responses, and delivering impactful programs with a focus on maternal, neonatal, and child health.
Her career includes pivotal roles as an M&E Consultant for a leading UN agency, an M&E Director for a regional Ministry of Health, and a Coordinator for COVID-19 isolation centers. Eylaph has provided high-level technical support in designing and managing M&E frameworks and is skilled in data analysis using tools like Epi Info. She has proven leadership in crisis situations, having coordinated comprehensive health and nutrition responses for flood-affected populations and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). Eylaph has also led complex health projects from planning to completion, including establishing a fully-equipped clinic to serve malnourished and orphaned children.
Eylaph holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and a Master's Degree in Public Health. Her medical qualifications are strengthened by professional certifications in Project Management (PMP) and Training of Trainers (TOT).
