i-APS Sudan Leads TPM Training for SHARE Health Monitoring Project

We are excited to share that the i-APS Sudan team has recently completed an intensive 5-day training program for 46 team leaders, who are now training and will be working with 278 public health specialists across all 18 states of Sudan. This initiative is a cornerstone of the World Bank-funded SHARE project, enabling independent monitoring and validation of health facility performance and public health programs across the country.

The training was expertly delivered by our core team of five subject matter experts, using our powerful KAPcourse.com, KAPsurvey.com, and TPMready.com platforms. It combined strategic oversight with practical field skills, covering:

  • Health monitoring tools
  • TPM ethics and ‘Do no harm’
  • Mixed-methods data collection (facility/mobile)
  • FGDs and KIIs in displacement settings
  • Progressive risk-based monitoring and QA
  • Gender, security, and cultural sensitivity
  • TPM simulation and pilot testing

By strengthening frontline capacity, this effort aims to provide timely, credible insights to the Sudan Ministry of Health, UNICEF, WHO, and the World Bank Group—ultimately contributing to more effective, accountable, and equitable health service delivery across Sudan.
