Under this long-term service agreement with UNICEF, i-APS provides extensive Third-party monitoring (TPM) services of UNICEF activities in Yemen. i-APS leverages its Yemeni-native staff/personnel and is supported by international subject matter experts. To date, 13 task orders were assigned to i-APS; 10 Task orders were successfully completed and three are currently under implementation. The task orders focused on education, WASH, and health, lasting anywhere from 3 months to over a year. TPM activities include: detailed desk research, development of tools and inception reports, organization of all UNICEF data, field and remote data collection across all 22 Yemen Governorates, data analysis, and reporting, including monthly, quarterly and final reports on monitoring activities. Data collection includes Key Informants Interviews (KIIs), surveys, Focus Group Discussion (FGDs), and field observations. So far, i-APS has completed KII and field monitoring observations of 2184 out of 14,563 schools across 22 Yemen governorates and surveyed 20,024 trainees, trainers, supervisors’ workers, MoE staff across 14 governorates.
