Senior Regional Manager

Chiara Carli is a seasoned humanitarian and development leader with over 20 years of international experience spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans, and Europe. As a Senior Regional Manager at i-APS, Chiara oversees complex global operations, specializing in Human-Centered Design (HCD) to ensure that large-scale programs remain deeply rooted in the needs of the communities they serve.

Chiara holds an M.Sc. in Management of Rural Development from SOAS, University of London, and brings deep technical expertise in food security, public health, and social protection. She currently manages high-level Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) for WFP, UNICEF, and UN OCHA, including the oversight of eight regional task orders across Egypt, Uganda, Mali, Türkiye, Cambodia, and Yemen. A champion of innovation, Chiara drives operational efficiency through the ethical use of AI and process automation, while continuing to mentor the next generation of i-APS and partner staff.
